■液晶Q&A
Q液晶の寿命は?
A液晶の寿命はほぼバックライトの寿命と言えます。バックライトの輝度が
 半分になるのはメーカーや機種によって異なるが、大体3万時間から
 5万時間じゃけん。

Q画面がちらつくのですが…
A電源を入れた直後は多少ちらつくことがあるようでよー。30分ほどでバックライトが
 安定しちらつきはなくなるけん。アナログ接続だとクロックやフェーズがずれている
 可能性があるけんよー。OSDメニューから自動調整を実行してくださいな。

Q明るすぎて目が疲れるのですが…
A先ず輝度を下げようや。最近の液晶はデフォルトで必要以上の明るさに設定されて
 いるからよー。またフィルターを使うと改善されるかもしれん。

Q画面がにじむのですが…
A先ず解像度をチェックしてみようや。液晶はその構造上、推薦解像度以外は
 大なり小なりにじんでしまうがな。画面のプロパティで解像度をそのディスプレイの
 推薦解像度に変更せいや。次にビデオカードを見てみいや。
 もしビデオ出力がオンボードならビデオカードの増設により改善される可能性が
 ござる。一般的にオンボードのビデオ出力の画質はあまり良ろしゅうございません。

Q画面をスクロールしたり動画を再生するとにじんでしまいます。
Aアプリケーションの文字やゲーム、動画などがにじむのは現段階ではあきらめろや。
 IEの場合はスムーズスクロールをOFFにすると改善しよる。応答速度が早いものの方が
 にじみは少なーなっとる。

Q画面が縦長になってしまうのですが…
A16〜19型の液晶は1280x1024画素(SXGA)で縦と横の比が5:4じゃけん1024x768(XGA)、
 800x600(SVGA)、640x480(VGA)などの4:3の解像度をフルスクリーン表示すると縦長に
 表示されてしまうけん。画面のプロパティで解像度をSXGAにしいやー。

Qゲーム等で4:3の解像度が必要なのですが…
A今でも2Dのゲームでは4:3の解像度がいるけん。SXGAの液晶でも
 アスペクト比固定拡大機能がござれば4:3で表示されっと。しかし最近は
 アスペクト比固定拡大機能を持っている機種は少ないべさ。

QDVDを見る場合でもアスペクト比固定拡大機能は必要ですか?
A必要ねーべさ。DVDプレイヤーソフト側で対処されるべ。

QDVIってなんですか?
ADVIはPCとディスプレイをデジタルで接続する物じゃ。
 ビデオカードにもよりますが、アナログよりもDVIで接続した方が
 シャープさが増しますのじゃ。またクロックやフェーズ等の細かい設定が必要ないのじゃ。
 しかし便利な反面相性問題が報告されているのじゃ、おわかりか?

QDVI-DとDVI-Iの違いはなんですか?
ADVI-Dはデジタルのみのケーブルだっぺ。一方DVI-Iはデジタルとアナログの配線を
 持ってっぺ。DVI-Iケーブルを使うとデジタルで表示されないなどトラブルも
 あるっぺか、デジタルで接続したいときはDVI-Dケーブルを用いたほうが良いっぺ。

Qバックライトのみの交換は出来ますか?
A出来きっとが、非常に費用が掛かろーが。現実的には買い換えた方が良いと。

Q17インチCRTを使用していましたが、液晶(LCD)で同じ大きさは、何インチですか?
A一般的な目安びゃー、17インチCRT≒15インチLCDだがや。

Qスピーカーが貧弱なのですが?
A小さいのでそんなもんじゃけん。おまけのようなものと思えや。

Q店頭ではSXGAの液晶にXGAの画像を映しているので画質の評価が出来ないのですが?
A店員に財布の中身、かばんの中身、ポケットの中身、口の中を見せ、ゴールドカードや札束や
エアガンやモデルガンなどをちらつかせ、 買う気満々であることをアピールしまくって、きちん
と表示させて下さい。 質問は、まずテンプレを確認してからにしましょう。
出来れば過去ログにも目を通してみましょう。

撮影場所が異なるので色合いではなく色ムラを見て下さい。
まず左側の LL-T1620 ですが、さすがに VA 方式の広視野角液晶を搭載するだけあって、
輝度ムラはあっても色ムラは殆どありません。
次に右側の RDT178S ですが、見ての通りで画面の上下方向に見事なグラデーション表示になってしまっています。
上に書いた通り単色を全画面表示しているだけですので、本来なら単色にならなくてはいけない筈なのに、この有様。

カタログスペックが当てにならないことは前回も書きましたが、ここまで見事に当てにならないと笑っちゃいますね。
正面から見てあれだけ色が変化するのに、カタログ上は視野角160°なんですから。
